How to Make a Resumé Website in WordPress

A resume is a good way for you to explain your skills to a potential employer or anyone curious about your skillset. Normally you would email it out as a form but you can also set up a site to show your resume. In this video, we will show you how to create a online reume site in WordPress.

Creating a reume site with WordPress can seem fairly confusing to start with but we will show you how to easily set up a site for your resume.

Start by signing up with a WordPress hosting company and setup WordPress. For this we used HostGator, but you can use any one of the top WordPress hosting providers listed here because they’ll all give you a free domain:

Select a theme that you would like to have on your site and customize it to look how you want. You can create a menu under Appearance, Menu

Most of your other customization options are under Appearance, Customization.

After your site is set up how you would like, you would want to go into Plugins, Add new and install and activate teh resume builder plugin.
